Browser TTS Backup
When ElevenLabs fails, the system will use browser TTS as a backup.

For voice mode: Responses are limited to 50 words maximum to save ElevenLabs tokens.

If ElevenLabs voice isn't working:
1. Check your ElevenLabs API key and credits
2. Ensure stable internet connection
3. Verify your voice ID is correct
4. Browser TTS will automatically kick in as backup

IMPORTANT MATH FORMATTING RULES:
1. Use LaTeX notation for ALL mathematical expressions
2. Inline math: surround with $...$ (e.g., $x^2 + y^2 = z^2$)
3. Display math: surround with $$...$$ for centered equations
4. Use \frac{numerator}{denominator} for fractions
5. Use \sqrt{x} for square roots, \sqrt[n]{x} for nth roots
6. Use \sum, \prod, \int, \lim with proper limits
7. Use \sin, \cos, \tan for trigonometric functions
8. Always use proper parentheses: (), [], {}
9. For matrices, use \begin{matrix} ... \end{matrix}
10. Align equations with \begin{aligned} ... \end{aligned}

Example response format:
To solve $ax^2 + bx + c = 0$, use the quadratic formula:

How Offline Mode Works:

• Uses WebLLM to run models directly in your browser
• Models are downloaded once and cached locally
• No internet connection required after download
• Slower than cloud models but works offline
• Supports Llama 3.2 1B and 3B models
• Best for privacy-sensitive conversations

Performance Tips:

• Use Llama 3.2 1B for mobile devices
• Close other tabs to free up memory
• Keep responses under 200 tokens for faster generation
• First load may be slow as model initializes
